Academy Herbert was founded in February of 2016 as a collaborative effort between father and son Herbert to spread the jiu jitsu life style and make a positive impact in the world.
The vision for the academy is to offer high class instruction in a traditional yet stylish manner that focused solely on providing budo classes.
I've been taking budo sports for my whole life and it helps a lot on a social level, healthy lifestyle, self-confidence, improved cardiovascular health, weight loss, improved reflexes, focus and stillness, teaches great moral and values, muscle tone as well as a better mood. And I am not the only one who thinks this.
Very often we got the question what is best to do after training, to reduce the soreness tomorrow brings after a great training session. It is great to have a full training session, but without proper recover from a workout you can tell days later exactly which muscle you trained. Therefore here are some tips you can include into your training program.
Sparring is considered one of the most fun things to do. Steaming off from a long day at the office and trying to apply the newly learned techniques. It can even be a creative search journey of developing and applying new techniques. “Thinking outside the box to trap somebody inside”.
